What is Somacting?
Somacting is a workshop that bridges Theatre and Self-Awareness through exercises, guidance, and meaningful connection with ourselves and other human beings. Movement and improvisation are key elements of our work. As we are living in today’s world, we all face social anxiety and inner challenges and often, we ourselves become the obstacle on our own life’s path.
Inspired by the Greek words for “Body” (Soma) and “Mouth” (Stoma), we created a workshop that harmonises body and speech through art. Acting, voice, movement, presence, breathing, mindfulness, storytelling, and free individualism as well as collective expression are just some of the tools we offer to help you discover the path toward your authentic self.
When was the last time your body moved freely and without judgment?
When did you last unleash your imagination?
When did you unlock a hidden part of yourself?
When did you truly connect with others?
When was the last time you listened to your inner child?
